My interest in this has to do with the consolidation of the human with his universe. I've given lengthy consideration to the design of the inner chakras relative to the arrangement of the celestial bodies of the cosmology we observe outwardly. Root chakra having four petals is certainly the lunar base, sacral chakra having six petals is planetary, solar plexus is obviously stellar, and heart with its twelve petals is galactic.
Between the two-dimensional reality of planetary life (six petals) and the three-dimensional actuality brought to life by a star (ten petals) is the two-and-one-half dimensions of navel truth (in Sanskrit called the “manas-cakra” with its eight petals), and we here on Earth live with its rules on a daily basis as we walk and ride and drive about on the surface of a sphere (said surface being both two-dimensional and three dimensional). As we look to the throat chakra from the heart, twelve petals becomes sixteen. It has been my choice to identify the intermediary fourteen, and I believe that in the external world between the galactic level of design and where galaxies group into clusters, the active galactic nuclei that often form quasars are the revelation of integrity I'm looking for.
For years this was perplexing, as I was only thinking in terms of quasars, and the nearest, 3C 273, is 750 megaparsecs away, far beyond the Laniakea Supercluster of galaxies where we live. I was sure that the design inclusion was important, but it seemed that the outer world was not reflecting this truth. All I needed, though, was to adjust my thinking from quasars to active galactic nuclei, of which there are numerous within our own Virgoan Supercluster.
3C 274, better known as Messier 87, is one of the most massive in our local supercluster, double our own Milky Way. This supergiant elliptical galaxy is located near the center of the Virgo Cluster, which forms the core of the larger Virgo Supercluster. This satisfies my interest in active galaxies.
